For the new head office of HTM in The Hague, LoQit is delivering the electronic locking systems for the staff lockers. The project concerns HTM HSK Offices Den Haag – The Globe, developed by SENS real estate.

In total, approximately 1,800 lockers will be installed. The first 255 staff lockers have already been delivered and equipped with the LoQit locking system. This marks the successful completion of the first phase of this large-scale project.

Smart lockers in a modern working environment

The new office is designed to support flexible working. Employees choose their workspace on a daily basis. In that setting, quick and easy access to a locker is a basic requirement.

With LoQit, users can reserve or activate a locker themselves via the app or a linked access card. Management is handled centrally through the cloud platform. Facility managers can adjust settings remotely and gain real-time insight into usage, occupancy, and availability. This saves time and reduces manual work on site.

The lockers are made of wood and supplied by GielissenThe warm finish complements the look and feel of the building and its interior design.

Installation of the electronic locking systems was carried out by our installation partner Diftar. Close coordination between all parties ensured that the installation was completed on schedule and without unnecessary disruptions.

Ready for growth

The project is being rolled out in phases. With the first 255 lockers in place, a solid foundation has been established. The next phases will follow, moving toward the total of approximately 1,800 lockers.

Thanks to the cloud-based solution, new lockers can easily be added. Administrators can adjust settings remotely, including user groups, dynamic or assigned use, access rights, and optional payment functionalities. This allows the locker system to grow and adapt along with the organization.
